According to Metro 911, one person was injured after a vehicle struck the barrier at a railroad crossing in St. Albans Saturday. The accident occurred on Walnut Street Saturday afternoon. Responders transported one person to the hospital. Dispatchers said that workers for the CSX railroad company are looking into the damages to the crossing barrier. Members of the St. Albans Police and Fire Departments and Kanawha Ambulance responded.
