Student injured in Calhoun County bus crash to be released from the hospital

A Calhoun County seventh grader will be released from the hospital by the weekend after the school bus crash earlier this month. 14-year old Kevin Wilson’s leg was amputated after doctors said he lost blood flow and pulse in his leg. The after-school activities bus overturned on its side on March 4 and investigators said the driver, Jeffrey Brannon, was allegedly drunk at the wheel. Brannon faces 22 charges in the case.
