A man pleaded guilty this week to voluntary manslaughter in connection to the stabbing death of a Charleston woman in May 2021. Lt. Tony Hazelett with the Charleston Police Department said at the time that 34-year-old Virginia Bradford was found dead inside a home in the 100 block of Sunset Drive with stab wounds.
Michael Fleming Jr. was charged with first-degree murder, and after the plea this week, his sentencing date is set for June 4. He faces up to 15 years behind bars.
