A West Virginia chef has been named a finalist for the one of the most prestigious awards in the restaurant industry. Chef Paul Smith is a finalist for Best Chef in the Southeast in the 2024 James Beard Foundation Awards. Smith is the chef at 1010 Bridge in Charleston. It marks the second year in a row that Smith has been named a finalist for the award. A live ceremony will be held June 10 in Washington, D.C., where winners will be announced.
