A man is sentenced for a 2022 stabbing in Huntington

A man found guilty of stabbing another man to death outside of a Huntington convenience store will spend at least the next 15 years in prison. Cabell County prosecuting attorney Jason Spears said a jury sentenced Kahmal Dillahunty of Pontiac, Michigan, to life with mercy. This would make him eligible for parole in 15 years. Dillahunty was convicted of stabbing Timothy Stratton to death outside of the Sheetz convenience store on Eight Street and Sixth Avenue in July 2022.
