A Parkersburg couple was charged with child neglect after officers investigating a shots fired incident found deplorable living conditions for the pair’s children.
Samuel Stewart and Sierra Leasure are each charged with three counts of child neglect creating risk of injury. Parkersburg Police said officers were called to a shots fired call where Stewart was involved, and that led officers to his apartment where they discovered the children and the deplorable living conditions, with trash piled, up, roaches and mice. Child Protective Services took custody of the children.
