Huntington City Council voted this week to expand the city’s outdoor drinking options. If customers are in a designated Private Outdoor Designated Area they can take their alcoholic beverages to go from participating restaurants and bars and drink them outside. The City Council voted Monday to expand the PODA days from three days a week to seven. The new hours will be from 5 to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Huntington area includes Third and Fourth avenues between Eighth and 10th streets.
