A Kanawha County man connected to a major drug run learns his sentence

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia said a Kanawha County man has been sentenced to six years and six months in prison. Robert Dewayne Miller of Charleston will serve the time for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Investigators believe he played a major role in a drug trafficking organization, active between October 2022 and January 2023. Miller and his two co-defendants were among thirty-two people indicted as part of Operation Smoke and Mirrors, which was the largest drug bust in state history.
