Two campers were destroyed in an explosion and fire at a Mason County campground Sunday night. Firefighters responded to Rivers Edge Campground along Rt. 2 in Mason County, according to Valley Fire & Rescue. The blaze was contained to two campers and no other nearby surroundings were damaged. The West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the explosion and fire.
