Miranda Lambert’s foundation donates to the KCHA

The community continues to step up to help the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association, after a U-Haul crashed into the building and left it with structural damage. Dozens of families and volunteers have been fostering the displaced animals, and now a country star is lending a hand with a big donation. The KCHA announced Tuesday that Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation is donating $10,000 from its MuttNation-Tractor Supply Relief for Rescues Fund. Lambert and her mother founded the nonprofit in 2009 to help shelter pets. The Kanawha County Commission also announced a $15,000 donation last week to help with the repairs.
