This will be the weekend to turn in unused and unwanted prescriptions during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hundreds of law enforcement agencies across West Virginia have registered to take part in Take Back Day and you can view the drop-off locations at deatakeback.com. Charleston Police will have drop-off locations set up at six locations throughout the Capital City including Walgreens on Washington Street West, the Piggly Wiggly on MacCorkle Avenue Southeast, and Drug Emporium on Kanawha Boulevard.
