Two people face charges in Jackson County overdose case

Two people have been arrested in a fatal overdose investigation in Jackson County, West Virginia. Cody Lee Miller, 30, and Carlina Pennington, 34, both of Elkview, are charged with drug delivery resulting in death and conspiracy to deliver fentanyl, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said the pair were charged regarding a fatal overdose in the Ravenswood area last week. Bonds for Miller and Pennington were set at $150,000 each.
