Former West Virginia Delegate Doug Skaff, Jr. was hospitalized while he was treated for several snake bites, but he’s been released. Skaff was bitten three times by two copperhead snakes while he was out picking up campaign signs in Boone County. Skaff was treated at CAMC in Charleston for seven days and continues to recover at home. Skaff lost the Secretary of State primary race to Kris Warner. Skaff was in the House of Delegates for almost 12 years.
