Man dies from multiple gunshot wounds on Saturday 5-25

According to a news release from the Charleston Police Department Dimitri Coleman, 29, was pronounced dead from multiple gunshot wounds in a shooting that occurred in Charleston early Saturday morning. Dispatch received reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Railroad Avenue about 3:30 a.m. Upon arrival, Police say witnesses at a nearby bar and restaurant saw an unknown suspect approached the victim, grabbing him by the neck and shooting him multiple times before fleeing on foot. Multiple gunshots were fired at the suspect who was described as an older black male wearing a black shirt and pants. CPD says the homicide investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made
