Motorcycle riders stop in Nitro on their way to Washington D.C.

A group of 325 motorcyclists began a journey 37 miles east of Los Angeles and they’ll end up at the Arlington National Cemetery in Washington D.C. over Memorial Day weekend. The group stopped in Nitro this week as part of the annual cross country trip known as Run for the Wall. The trip honors those killed in action from all wars, those who went missing, and prisoners of war. While in Nitro they visited the West Virginia Vietnam Memorial Wall in the Nitro Wars Museum. In Washington D.C., they’ll head to the national Vietnam Memorial.
