Marshall University has named Rob Fulford as associate head coach of the men’s basketball team according to a news release. Coach Cornelius Jackson said “He’s a first-class person and coach with a first-class work ethic,” “A proven winner with major success coaching and recruiting at the college and prep school levels.” Fulford is a Marshall alum who spent seven seasons as recruiting coordinator and assistant coach at the University of Akron. During his time, the team averaged more than 20 wins per season, earning three Mid-American Conference titles.
