The special session came to an end Tuesday and all requested bills from Governor Jim Justice passed, including one that provides extra funding to the Department of Health and the Department of Human Services. An amendment that will send money to the Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) Waiver Program was approved. State lawmakers also approved a bill for FAFSA, which will set aside money so that state colleges and universities can help students applying for federal financial aid.
