State offical prepare to reveal findings in Kyneddi Miller case

State officials plan to address findings in an investigating regarding the death of a Boone County teenager next week. Gov. Jim Justice announced the findings will be presented Thursday, June 6 at 2 p.m. at the State Capitol. Along with Justice will be chief of staff Brian Abraham, State Police chief of staff Maj James Mitchell, Department of Human Services Secretary Dr. Cynthia Persily and State Superintendent of Schools Michele Blatt. The emaciated body of 14-year-old Kynnedi Miller was found at a Morrisvale home earlier this year, leading to child neglect charges filed against her mother and grandparents.The death has raised questions regarding the conduct of West Virginia State Police and the Department of Human Services
