A state trooper was stabbed in the neck during an altercation in Lincoln County Wednesday night. It happened along Willey Road in Ranger, West Virginia at about 9:30 p.m. following a pursuit with a suspect. The suspect was also shot. Eyewitness News reported that the trooper was stable and was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington. The investigation is continuing.
