According to Putnam County 911 dispatchers, an asphalt dump truck rolled over and caught fire around 2 p.m. Friday on Route 35 near Tuckers Branch Road. The Winfield Volunteer Fire Department, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and Putnam County EMS responded to the accident. One person has been taken to the hospital, but the extent of his injuries are unknown at this time There is no information on how long the road will be closed.
