A Dunbar police officer was arrested earlier this week after he was accused of grabbing his significant other by the hair during a domestic incident. Chris Kendall of Dunbar was charged after West Virginia State Police responded to Kendall’s home. An alleged verbal argument escalated, according to the complaing filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court. Dunbar Police Chief Brian Oxley said Kendall was not on duty at the time and the incident was not related to the department. Eyewitness News said Kendall has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.
