Responders with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office and Kanawha Ambulance worked alongside Tyler Mountain Volunteer firefighters to settle the situation after a vehicle crashed into a gas meter on Saturday. Dispatchers said the crash happened on Washington Street West and Relation Road in Cross Lanes Saturday afternoon, and witnesses smelled gas at the scene. The gas company was called, and there were no injuries reported.
