Four arrests made as investigation into Detroit drug trafficking group continues

A bust in Huntington on Friday morning led authorities to four arrests and the confiscation of a large quantity of drugs and over $50,000 in cash. Huntington Police conducted 10 searches in the city and found over four pounds of crystal meth, one and half pounds of heroin and fentanyl, a large amount of pressed fentanyl pills, a firearm and a large sum of cash. Matthew Parker Jr, Kendrail Berry, and Jamal Honeycutt, all of Detroit, Michigan were arrested, along with Kelmin Marcell Patton of Newport News, Virginia. The searches and arrests were a part of the ongoing investigation into the drug trafficking organization based out of Michigan that has been operating out of Huntington. The investigation is ongoing and police say that there are more arrests expected to be made.
