The Stinger Produce Market is officially open for business. The USDA and the Huntington National Bank have partnered with West Virginia State University to create the market across from Wallace Hall. Eyewitness News said the goal of the market is to fight food insecurity and provide fresh produce for not only those on WVSU’s campus but those in surrounding communities. The produce comes from local producers. The market is open from June to October.
