A Mason County couple was charged with child neglect after officers said they found piles of animal feces and used diapers in their home. Ronny Fletcher and Hannah Fletcher, both of Pt. Pleasant, were charged with child neglect creating risk of injury, according to a criminal complaint filed in Mason County Magistrate Court. Officers said they were called to the couple’s home on May 21 for a welfare check and when they arrived said they found Ronny Fletcher yelling at a Child Protective Services worker attempting to make a welfare check. The complaint said two children were removed from the home by CPS due to it being a health hazard.
