There was a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday to mark the opening of the Putnam County Bank Sports Complex in Hurricane. Bridge Park along Main Street in Downtown Hurricane has four turf fields for baseball or softball with LED lighting and inground dugouts. The park also has a playground, pickleball courts and an 18-hole disc golf course. The complex hosted its first tournament over the weekend.
