A suspect is in custody after deputies said he shot at a neighbor and then at responding officers in Kanawha County on Friday at a home along Coonskin Drive just before noon. Kanawha County deputies said about three shots were allegedly fired at a neighbor, prompting the initial response. When deputies approached the home the suspect fired at least two shots at them. The suspect initially remained in the home, but was taken into custody without incident after complying with orders to come out. The home was searched and no one else was inside.
