A family’s pets were killed in a house fire Wednesday in Huntington, firefighters said. The fire was reported in the 100 block of River Avenue in Huntington, according to Cabell County dispatchers. Firefighters said two dogs and a cat died in the blaze. No one was home at the time of the incident. Officials said the fire appears to be electrical and accidental.
