July is offical back to school shopping month

July marks the start of the back-to-school shopping season, and the West Virginia Department of Human Services along with the Bureau for Family Assistance is gearing up to support families during this time. Starting Monday, July 1, they began accepting applications for the school clothing allowance program. This program helps eligible families meet their children’s clothing needs for the upcoming school year.To qualify for the school clothing allowance, families must meet the certain monthly income limits: Certain households should have already received benefits for each school-aged child by the end of June.or an application and the list of income levels go to 877-716-1212.
