Rescue teams are searching for a man who they believe drowned Monday at Sutton Lake in Braxton County. West Virginia Division of Natural Resources officers said a 25-year-old Charleston man was on a boat with family members when a child began experiencing trouble in the water. The man jumped into the water and was able to help the child to safety, but slipped under afterward and has not been seen since. The incident was reported about 11:30 a.m. Monday. DNR officials said dive teams are searching beneath and above the surface Tuesday.
