A group of Putnam County residents got together to start a petition, asking for change at what’s been called one of Route 35’s most dangerous intersections.
So far over 1700 residents have signed the petition urging for an overpass at the intersection of Route 35 and Hurricane Creek Road. The Putnam County Transportation Committee received the petition this week. The Division of Highways will conduct a traffic study before settling on possible solutions.
