West Virginia’s Department of Health wants everyone to celebrate the 4th safely, so here are some suggestions: Wear safety goggles, Light fireworks outside, one at a time, Avoid standing near fireworks after lighting. Do not hold fireworks close to your body Follow instructions on packaging, Comply with local laws/ Keep a water supply nearby and Supervise children at all times, Never relight a malfunctioning firework.
