Tennis tournament is underway in Charleston

The week-long Public Courts Tennis Tournament, one of the oldest of its kind in the country, started inside the Charleston Tennis Club on Sunday. Nate Burton, West Virginia State University athletic director, has taken the helm of the tournament, and said there are 245 participants in the tournament 247 matches this year over the 7-day period. The tournament holds matches and events for all ages, singles and doubles.
