A Kanawha County man will spend up to 50 years in prison for sexually assaulting and abusing a young girl who was under his care at the time. Joshua Hudson of Cedar Grove previously pleaded guilty to three charges in connection with the case. He was initially indicted on 12-counts by a Kanawha County Grand Jury.
Kanawha County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Alan Nichols said the plea deal was reached to avoid having to retraumatize the child during a trial. Judge Tera
Salango said Hudson deserved nothing less than the maximum time she could impose because of a lack of remorse, according to Eyewitness News.
