Kangaroo makes escape but is recoverd by Wild Life workers

On Friday, first responders had to hop to it, after a kangaroo delayed morning commuters in Logan County. Dispatchers received multiple calls after the roo escaped its enclosure and was spotted along Mud Fork Road in Verdunville. Deputies responded to the area and learned the owners adopted the marsupial after it had spent years in a petting zoo. Officers with the Division of Natural Resources were consulted, noting it is legal to own a kangaroo in West Virginia without a permit. Lucky roo!
