According to court documents. Bradley Nigel Clutter, 33, of Leon, has been charged with child abuse resulting in injury in a criminal complaint filed in Mason County Magistrate Court. The complaint said law enforcement was dispatched to a Henderson home Sunday evening in response to reported abuse. The complaint said Clutter allegedly “whooped [the child] with a flat bar like a sway bar for a tractor” after the child miscounted livestock. Investigators said the child was found to have “redness and bruising on both cheeks of the buttocks” more than 12 hours after the alleged abuse occurred. Investigators determined the injuries were “beyond anything to be considered child discipline, especially with the weapon described as being used.”
