The project has been in the works for nearly nine months, and the demolition process began last week. The goal is to create a better space for firefighters and to host community events. The Milton Volunteer Fire Department shared a statement on Facebook, pledging to share updates throughout the entire process. Firefighters hope to be finished with upgrades by November.
