A young boy was killed in a side-by-side crash Monday evening in Cabell County. A 9-year-old boy was injured in the incident and taken to a local hospital where he died, according to Cabell County Sheriff Chuck Zerkle. The crash was reported in the Cavill Creek Road area of the county. Lincoln County Schools Superintendent Frank Barnette confirmed that the boy was a student at West Hamlin Elementary School, and counselors have been available to students.
