Gov. Jim Justice recently announced the awarding of grants totaling $756,419 to support ten key projects aimed at improving the juvenile justice system in West Virginia. These grant funds are provided by the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. Administered by the Justice and Community Services Section of the West Virginia Division of Administrative Services, the grants focus on preventing juvenile delinquency, addressing racial and ethnic disparities, rehabilitating juvenile offenders, and strengthening the state’s juvenile justice system.
