Ohio men arrested in WVA for possession of fentanyl

On Saturday three men from Ohio were arrested after state police found large amount of fentanyl in their vehicle according to troopers. Gegory Daniels, 18, Niare Clipper, 18, and Antoine Dortch, 20, face possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy charges after troopers performed a traffic stop in the Madison area of Boone County, according to the West Virginia State Police. When the trooper approached the car, they detected the odor of marijuana and ordered a K-9 unit to search the vehicle. K-9 were able to detect the odor of illegal drugs. State police said that during the vehicle search, 11.84 grams of suspected fentanyl and a quantity of cash was found. All three suspects were taken to Southwestern Regional Jail as they await their arraignment.
