Marshall University announced a 3:30 p.m. kickoff time for the Herd’s home football game against Western Michigan. The Herd hosts the Broncos at Joan C. Edwards Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 28 and the game will be broadcast on ESPN+, according to a news release from Marshall Athletics. The matchup will coincide with Marshall’s Hall of Fame Weekend, featuring a reunion of the 2014 Conference USA Championship winners and the induction of nine new members to the Hall of Fame. Marshall faced Western Michigan 25 years ago for a Mid-American Conference title game in Huntington. The match saw quarterback Chad Pennington overcome a 23-point deficit and lead his team to a 34-30 victory.
