Troopers still looking for stolen equipment and missing copper in Logan County

Troopers are looking for more information after the theft of an excavator, copper and other items from businesses in Logan County. According to a news release from West Virginia State Police these are some of the items missing- A Bobcat 325G excavator, blue Miller welder, 14-foot flatbed trailer and $100,000 in copper, were stolen from a location off Blair Mountain Highway near Kelly Hollow Road. Troopers said the equipment was owned by Tren Services and the copper is owned by Arch Resources. The news release did not say when the thefts took place, but troopers were made aware on Tuesday. Anyone with information in the investigation is asked to contact West Virginia State Police at 304-792-7200.
