Tyler Mountain Volunteer Fire Department restructures its leadership

More changes are coming to the Tyler Mountain Volunteer Fire Department. Back in May, nearly a dozen firefighters resigned from the Tyler Mountain Volunteer Fire Department. The firefighters who walked out claimed they had no choice but to leave due to the allegations of nepotism and dishonesty. In July, the chief and board of directors resigned. Eyewitness News said now, they have a newly elected board along with a new chief and assistant chief. Before voting took place last Thursday, there were only two people on the board, now, it’s back to seven.
