The University of Charleston has been named one of the Best Regional Schools by the Princeton Review in its 2025 “Best Colleges: Region by Region” rankings. This year, 630 schools were recognized. UC is one of 97 schools listed in the Mid-Atlantic Region that the publication considers “academically outstanding.” UC was one of five West Virginia Schools to make the list. The Mid-Atlantic Region includes schools in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
