A firefighter is recovering from injuries he received while responding to a house fire in Poca. Putnam County 911’s Facebook page said the firefighter sustained a minor injury while working a house fire on Heizer Creek Road last Friday night. Several agencies responded. The firefighter was taken to the hospital for treatment and he will be okay.
