It’s WV Pumpkin Festival week in Milton

A popular fall festival starts this week in Milton. Since 1986 West Virginia Pumpkin Park has been home to the West Virginia Pumpkin Festival, which organizers say has turned into one of the state’s largest fall events. The festival’s website says it was designed to help farmers with the raising and selling of pumpkins along the I-64 corridor and attracts attention from throughout the region. Each October, more than 48,000 people travel to Milton to experience the state’s largest pumpkins, a petting zoo, parade and more. This year’s festival runs October 3 through 6.
