A man faces several charges including murder and assault following an altercation that turned into a stabbing Saturday afternoon in Charleston. 33-year old Mark Dylan Kreaps was taken into custody after police responded to a disturbance at Belvedere Apartments along the 1500 block of Virginia Street. One man was murdered, a woman was beaten, and another man was stabbed twice, according to the criminal complaint filed with the Kanawha County Magistrate Court. Kreaps was found near the complex shortly after police arrived with cuts on his hands, covered in blood and wearing black gloves overtop of latex gloves. Kreaps has been charged with murder, two counts of malicious assault and one count of burglary.
