Student brings gun to school at Community college

A Bridge Valley Community and Technical College student accused of bringing a handgun to class has been criminally charged that according to court records.Brenden Alexander Graley, 23, of Chesapeake, was charged with brandishing a deadly weapon, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court. The complaint said a student in a nursing classroom observed Graley “panicking while looking around his immediate area in the classroom,” stating he was looking for a magazine. The student told investigators Graley opened his shirt where a handgun was tucked into his waistband. Graley has been taken to South Central Regional Jail and a $1,000 bail has been set.
