A person has been arrested following a hit-and-run incident that left one dead in Kanawha County Friday evening, deputies said. The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. along Witcher Creek Road and after striking the victim, the suspect allegedly fled the scene, according to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office.Deputies were able to locate the suspect and take them into custody. They are expected to be arraigned Friday night.The victim’s name has not been released.
