Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas’ charity will help adoption efforts in West Virginia

Representatives from the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption announced at a news conference this week that the group will expand its assistance in West Virginia. Dave Thomas is known as the founder of the Wendy’s Restaurant chain, adopted a child himself, and has given millions to adoption efforts. West Virginia has more than 6,000 children in foster care who could be adopted. Only twenty percent are adopted after the age of ten. There are two recruiters in West Virginia now helping families adopt, and with the new funds, they hope to up that number to ten. You can see more at http://www.MissionWV.org.
